First and foremost, Cliffs of Baldr is a right to live sim.
That means all players have the right to continue their story or end it as they feel fits their story.
Please note, this is not an excuse to ignore ic consequences for ic actions. Merely that we are aware of how attached one can be to their character after putting in hours upon hours of work on their characters.
That being stated:
Note:
Looks may be similar, even sharing the same skin and the likes. (We understand not everyone has the money to completely remodel a character head to toe.) Though, we discourage players from stepping back into roleplay with a 'new' character with the same exact looks as the previous as this negates the purposes of ending a character.

That being stated:
- All ic deaths are at the discretion of the player that will die.
- A member of Baldr staff must be made aware of the potential IC death to avoid unnecessary drama.
- All attempted kills must be lead up to by roleplay. This includes attempts from Black Caste members, Outcasts, Raiders, and etc.
- Roleplay is classified and defined within the non-raid combat document.
- All deaths have to have a minimum of three roleplay posts prior to the finalization of a character.
- Once a character has been killed, we ask you (the killed player) to set OOC and step out of roleplay for 24 hours.
- During the 24-hour time frame, we ask that you take time to create a new character. This means a different-looking character: hair, eyes, etc.

- Once the 24-hour mark is up and the new character has been created, you are welcome to roleplay back into the sim or speak with a member of staff about other options in roleplay that may be available.
